Health consultation and Medical treatment
Infirmary at Nishi-Chiba Campus provides physical and mental health consultations, first aid, initial treatment of diseases, and referrals to medical institutions by doctors and nurses for students, and faculty staff.
- Health consultation
- We accept health-related consultations like "concerns about health" and " medical institution where to visit." We provide referrals to medical institutions and advice on daily life as needed and also provides consultations on smoking cessation, too.
- Medical treatment
- If you feel unwell or get injured on campus, you can receive medical treatment from a doctor. It is free of charge, but ongoing treatment is not available.
※Health insurance cards are not required for consultations in our infirmary. However, if you receive treatment at an external medical institution, it will be charged, so please bring with your own insurance card (or a distant dependent certificate).

For urgent injuries or serious symptoms, we provide medical care regardless of receiption hours.
Our nurse office hours are weekdays (Mon. - Fri.) from 8:30 to 17:15.

Information on Various Measurements
Blood pressure monitors, vision testers, height and weight scales, and body fat monitors are available for your use. And for bone density measurements or alcohol patch tests, please inquire at the nurse office.
